Clarifications on Our Craft and Sourcing

What counts as handcrafted

Every piece we list is made by an independent maker or a small workshop, not by a factory line. That means slight variations in glaze, weave, or finish are normal and part of the charm. We do not label machine-made replicas as handmade, and each product page states the primary technique used.

Small-batch means limited runs

Our makers produce in short series, often between ten and fifty pieces at a time. When a batch sells out, it may take weeks to restock because the same hands need to shape, fire, or weave again. We note expected restock dates on product pages whenever we can, but they are estimates, not guarantees.

How we define curated

Curated does not mean exclusive or one-of-a-kind in every case. It means we personally review each item for material quality, structural durability, and the story behind it. If a piece does not hold up to daily use or its maker cannot explain the process, we leave it out of the collection.

Care instructions are part of the product

Each listing includes specific care guidance because materials like terracotta, brass, and handloom cotton behave differently. Following those instructions is the best way to keep your purchase looking right. If you lose the details, the same information lives on the product page under the care tab.

Gift hampers are assembled to order

Bespoke hampers are put together only after you confirm the selection, so contents may differ slightly from the sample photo depending on stock. We always confirm the final list by email before dispatch. If a chosen item is unavailable, we offer a comparable alternative or a full refund.

Shipping and delivery windows

Because most items travel directly from the maker, delivery times vary by region and by the maker's current workload. We share an estimated window at checkout, but remote pincodes may take a few extra days. Tracking details are sent to the email you provide once the parcel leaves the workshop.
